HUNTINGTON PLACE PARKING FOR THE DETROIT BOAT SHOW – $20/vehicle, card only
Huntington Place Roof Deck (located at 625 West Congress). The structure is convenient and you only have to take an elevator down to the Huntington Place lobby.
Washington Street Garage (located at One Washington Blvd). This is also a very convenient, covered parking option located directly in the front of Huntington Place.
Congress Street Garage (located at Congress & First Street). This is another convenient option located directly at Huntington Place. It has both covered and some open spaces and can be reached from both Congress or First Street access points.

Hours for Huntington Place Parking:

Roof deck: 4:00a-10:00p
Congress: Open Weekends if needed
Washington: 6:00-10:00p

Other options if these lots are full:

Parking Available at:
A-1 Parking

701 W. Jefferson Ave.
Detroit, MI 48226

The lot is located directly across from the Joe Louis Arena box office. There will be signage offering the $5 parking. The lot will be open daily from 10am – 6pm. Any vehicles parked longer than 6pm are permitted but no additional parking will be offered passed his time. The lot is within walking distance to the Huntington Place Conference Center Atwater entrance.

Parking Garages

There are a number of other Parking Garages with a block or two of Huntington Place which will also be open during the Detroit Boat Show.

Use the Detroit People Mover

FREE during the show, you can park far from Huntington Place (maybe near that restaurant you’ve been wanting to try) and rely on the city’s monorail to take you right inside the hall. The station is just an escalator ride away from the lobby in Huntington Place.

Street Parking
Street parking can sometimes be your best bet. Meters are free on Sunday. The newest city meters even take Visa and Mastercard. Some street parking near the northernmost People Mover spots can even be found for free!

Greektown
You can park for free (most times) at the Greektown Casino parking structure, then head for the boats. Greektown has its own People Mover station located right down the street.

The structure below Jefferson Ave.

Some people don’t even realize that there is a parking structure under East Jefferson, just east of Huntington Place. It’s the underground lot that was meant to serve the Ford Auditorium and it will cost only $15 to park there for an entire day. This lot can fill up during the week but may be a good weekend bet. You enter via a ramp in the median on E. Jefferson. Just look for the yellow sign with blue lettering.

Please note concessions and coat check transactions will be credit or debit card only
