Description: We’re currently seeking energetic and reliable Dockhands to join our operations team beginning in August, September, and leading into October. This is a great opportunity for high school students, retirees, teachers, firefighters, boat captains, or anyone looking for a flexible and enjoyable job by the water! This position plays a key role in providing exceptional service to our members, ensuring clean and ready-to-go boats, and maintaining a safe and organized dock environment. We are willing to train on using our various online systems, as well as training on operating and driving the boats until comfortable, Fun, fast-paced, outdoor work environment on Lake St. Clair, We have locations on the Detroit River at Sinbads, St Clair Shores at Colony Marine, Harrison twp on the Clinton River, and New Baltimore at Sun-up Marina. Positions open at all 4 locations. High preforming dockhands will be invited back for next season. Check out our website for more information on the club.
Responsibilities include:
• Drive boats to and from the gas dock as needed
• Clean and detail boats to maintain cleanliness standards
• Use our online reservation system to manage boat check-ins and check-outs
• Operate Fleetio to report maintenance needs and log issues
• Greet members, answer questions, and assist with onboarding
• Ensure safety procedures are followed on the dock and boats
• Assist with docking/departing of vessels
Qualifications:
• Drivers lisence (Required)
• Boater safety certification (Required)
• Boating experience (Preferred)
• Able to work afternoons, weekends, holidays (Required)
• Customer service experience (Preferred)
