What You’ll Do:

  • Safely haul boats locally using company semis and other trucks.
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and positioning boats for storage and launch.
  • Work in the boatyard during the off-season, helping with projects and marina-specific tasks.
  • Keep vehicles and facilities clean, safe, and ready for action.
  • Follow all DOT and OSHA regulations to ensure safety and compliance.
  • Contribute to a variety of duties that keep daily operations running smoothly.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • At least 3 years of Class A CDL driving experience with a clean safety record.
  • A current CDL-Class A license and DOT medical certification.
  • An interest in boats and a desire to work hands-on in a marina setting.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work around boats.
  • A team-oriented attitude and a willingness to learn new skills.

Walstrom Marine is looking for creative and driven salespeople to join our teams in Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, and Traverse City!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to understand their boating needs, preferences, and budgetary requirements.
  • Boat and Yacht Sales: Promote and sell a diverse range of boats and yachts from our inventory, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop an in-depth understanding of our boat and yacht models, features, and specifications to effectively present their benefits to customers.
  • Lead Generation: Proactively seek out new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, attending boat shows, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with our sales and support team to ensure seamless customer experiences and maintain a cohesive work environment.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities to remain competitive in the marketplace.

Qualifications/Experience:

Description:

Walstrom Marine is looking for experienced and qualified Marine Technicians at our locations in Algonac, Cheboygan, Charlevoix, Harbor Springs, and Traverse City!

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair boats for service within specified time frame; Conduct quality checks on work performed
  • Work closely with Service Team to receive authorization when additional worked is required; advise of diagnosis, repairs and cost estimate
  • Efficiency and productivity standards are within Company guidelines; limited repeat repair is low
  • Adequately indicate work completed and time spent; return work orders to service department promptly

Qualification/Experience:

  • Previous experience in marine and/or service environments required. A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
